  • Hi, I am Sandra Noronha(1980 batch-11th std).I was a kettle drummer in the first school band.My principal was Sr. Raphael(now Late Sr. Raphael-who died in Pachmari-Fox Rock Convent a few years ago).Till her death she kept writing to me though I am now married and settled with a kid and husband in Mumbai,Byculla.If anyone can post me a picture of the school or of the first school band(where all my other classmates r---Nishi Pillai was the Huge Drum Player and Sujata Rao the Band Leader,I remember.I dream of my school ever so often and feel very sad that I don't even have it's pic.I was a Boarder till the 4th std.and know every nook and cranny of the school,I hope the Grotto is still there which once my sister Iona had placed a candle during our evening rosary prayers and burnt Mother Mary's hand up.God bless all St Joseph's staff and Students.

  • I am now Chrstine Murray. I studied at this Convent since 1948- 1959. I passed my Senior Cambridge Exams and left to become a Nurse in Kent England. I went on to do a Degree in Social Sciences.I am now Widowed and would like to find some of my friends of that year.I was a great badminton player.Sports woman. I would love to get in contact with my year 1959 students, It would be wonderful to hear from anyone.The boys in St Aloysius College were my brothers friends and we kids of the sixties has a splendid time.Singing, dacing rock-in roll and going to the cinema.Hey get back to me.Where ever you are.

  • batch 2008 , i passed school being the under average student now doing my dental surgery finals realizing the school has not fetched me marks but improved my personal quality . I can feel the difference between an ordinary and a josephite, having a stand in every sphere and yesterday results declared 3rd rank in university :) I keep my school in high regards .

  • Hi ,I studied in this school,77 Batch and aso taught from 82 to 86 . The school is the best school in India. It has made us good citizens and I believe that my learning stopped when I left this School .I agree with Devashree that there is a difference between a josephite and others.How I long that my daughter could studyin the same school but..........

  • Hi,u I'm veena murthy now veena madhusudhan left the school in the year 1985. This is the best school in India. My batchmates were Rekha Shukla, Sunita George, Yamini Chandra. I still remember Mrs. Phillips (phy teacher), Mrs. Raza (chem teacher), Mrs Srivastav (Hindi teacher). At present I am living in Mumbai. I'm just dying to go back to Jabalpur and see my old school. How lucky the people who are staying in Jabalpur.

  • i was lucky that i got transfrerd to jabalpur. but i am sad that i got transfered to some other place. i love jabalpur and i like the st joseph school. when i left this schhol i was feeling very sad.i like this SCHOOL a lot

  • My mum was a boarder at this school many years ago.Late 20'2 early 30's I think. She had many fond memories of this school that she often recalled to her 6 children.I would one day like to visit this beautiful place, but live in the UK so will have to do some saving.My mum's name was Mary Shew and she was the ward of the mother superior at the time because she was orphaned at an early age.She has now passed on and is probably having a great time with all the nuns that taught her.(I hope she is not as naughty now as she was, always up to mischief).I know the school keeps records, one day I will see them.

  • I studied in this school right from the Fourth to the Eleventh and just loved it so!!!Like most schools in those times we were made to learn by rote. And the moral science classes were oh so funny! The best thing one can say for the school is that children liked going there which is more than can be said about a number of schools today. I passed out in 1970 and my maiden name was Prema Parameswaran. Kiran Kher was in the school too ..Four years my senior.
  • I passed out in December 1970, Senior Cambridge. Your name is familiar. You must have been in the Higher Secondary section. I was Benu Sachdeva then. And yes, I remember Kiron in school too. I have lovely memories of the school.
