Newport Centre is a super-regional shopping mall in Jersey City, opened in 1987. It is managed by Simon Property Group. It has a gross leasable area of 1,149,147 sq ft (106,759 sq m). The mall, with three floors, is oriented north-south. Most of the stores are located on the first two floors. On the top floor is the food court and a movie theatre. It has four anchor tenants (Sears, Kohl's, Macy's, and J.C. Penney).

  • Nice mall, plenty of stores and close to the holland tunnel, downtown jersey city.
  • Yesterday I had parked on the ground level of the newport center mall for a little more than 4 hrs and had shelled out a pretty steep 10.25 $. In my opinion it would be in their best interest of the newport mall to come up with a plan to validate tickets for purchasing customers. Free/discount if a customer ends up actually purchasing at your mall. I understand the proximity to the city and additional costs involved in operating a parking lot so close to the city. BUT HIGH PARKING FEES
  • Easily accessible by light rail (Newport) or PATH train (Newport/Pavonia).
