It is a famous town of Gorakhpur district because of its cloth shops ,medical facilities, cooled storage & Mukti path( a big dead bodies fire center). This place have so much beauty, good number of medical & surgery hospitals . The neighbours of this town are some villages As : - Narharpur, Khanesari, Kalyanpur, Sidduvapar etc. which provide the better co-operatin with this town in the help of gathering the resources like wheat, rice, potato etc.

  • BARAHLANJ:- BARAHALGANJ IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL TOWN.I HAVE BORN IN BUDHANPURA VILLAGE WHICH IS NEAR BY BARHALGANJ.MUKTIPATH IS NOT ONLY FOR DEAD BODIES ALTHOUGH IT IS OPEN FOR ALL THOSE PERSON WHO WANT TO FEEL COMFORT IN FREE TIME ,BIG TEMPLE OF LORD SHIV & A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL PICTURES COULD SEE OVER HERE .BIG FISH HAS SITUTATED JUST NEAR MUKTIPATH. JALESWAR NATH ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR TEMPLE OF THIS AREA .BUT AS FOR AS DEVELOPMENT IS CONCERN BARAHALGANJ HAS NOT DEVELOPED AS MUCH AS OTHER TOWN ARE DEVELOPING , ANY WAY AS FOR AS ME IS CONCERN THIS IS ONE OF THE BEAUTIFUL PLACE ,I HAVE GROWN HERE , DID STUDIED TILL GADUATION (NPG),HOW CAN I FORGET.

  • hi Barahalganj is the one of the nice place of Basgoan Area. Good People live here. 15 KM west of this City is Barahaj N Narahan which is located in bank of Ghaghra River(Ram Ghat). as it is tolled That Lord Ram Stay here for some time.more west you wil go and find GOLA BAZAR.

  • Do you know that: barhalganj consists of-kasba Barhal, Gola and Lalganj, named after Lal Sahib, the brother of the Bisen chieftain of Chillupar or Narharpur, a village 1.6 km.east of Barhalganj, who fought against the British in 1857-58. Up to this confrontation the Bisen chieftain was the owner of Barhalganj but after that, Barhalganj was confiscated and some of the land was given to the raja of Gopalpur for his support to the British but he was soon compelled to sell it in order to pay his debts to the British.   • Hi! Guys. It is anurag. I would like to say that BARHALGANJ is so beautiful town. My village is SEMARA( 15 km. east to the town) but i born in barhalganj & i read in barhalganj. In this town there are all types of facilities are available just like hospital( zohra, faiyyaz,ramrati, jansewa),schools (nehru tutorials, st. Joseph, national bal mandir, national inter college) clothes shops, shahi moll, bank facility, parshuram mandir, jaleshwar nath mandir & also muktipath. Muktipath is a amazing place which is built by a great person RAJESH TRIPATHI(M.L.A. of barhalganj). Barhalganj was sorrounded by vilions at 5 years ago. But now a days it is safe. A saint person doing well. I invited to all of you that come to this beautiful place & enjoy. JAI HIND JAI BHARAT

  • I was born in Narharpur in 1949 and belong to the mallah/kewat family.I remember how my grandfather used to ferry passenger from doharighat to barhal and vise versa.This connection has always been memeorable to me and after the construction of the bridge and Mukti Dham the area has become more popular in every aspect.*I thank the great guy who has *donated shelters to thr public who have to go for the funeral*.This place now more of a tourist attracion and i totally agree with the above Amar Sahni who claims to be from Semara.

  • barhalganj is like a district. if it has railway station, civil court, it may be a district. there are popular place or things and shops, colleges like as, holy saryu river, mukti path, zohra hospital, fahima hospital, govind bone hospital, prathmic swasthya kendra, govt.hospital,savitrt sevasram, gupta dresses, deepak h.p. gas agency, 3 petrol pumps, 5 atms, 10 banks, some corrupted politicians, ppi head office, ghanta ghar, hanuman mandir, npg college, nic, gangotri devi stadium, nh29, sh72, national medical store, cooled store, ramrati hospital, jaleshwar nath mandir, gayatri shakti peeth, zama maszid, misrauli colony, samvad travels, soti chauraha, saryu bridge, kalut shiv mandir, leta ghat, kanya inter college, sps, nbm, apa, st.joseph's school, st. xavier's school, sdbd restorent, shahi model shop, bus stand park, cotton n county big show room, sony agency, durga mandir ............etc and more. so it has called...........'CITY'.
