Terminal substation on the Coyote-Center-Maple River 345kV line; owned by Xcel Energy. The 345kV line is stepped down in succession to 230kV, 115kV, and finally 69kV to serve customers of Otter Tail Power, Xcel Energy, and Minnkota Power Cooperative. Talks are underway regarding plans to extend the 345kV line to connect to Xcel's 345kV system in Minnesota as part of the CapX2020 initiative by area electric utilities.
