The original wooden bridge (www.virtualmuseum.ca/pm.php?id=record_detail&fl=0&lg=En... to the Big Eddy district west of the river was opened in 1910. In 1924 the present iron bridge (upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0c/Big_Eddy_Br... was opened, one block north of the wooden bridge.
