Laxmi Hotel was established by Late Pt Devi Charan Pandey ( Sadhu). This is the first hotel of rai bareli and in late 60 - 70's this place was prime center for Gandhi Family. Mr Firoz Gandhi & Mrs Indira Gandhi used to visit during election time.

  • Laxmi hotel near bus station at Raebareli, was established by my revered father late Shri Devi Charan Pandey alias Sadhuji in the year 1952. Infact it was named after my eldest brother who is now no more on this earth.late feroze Gandhi patronized this hotel as his Residence between 1952-1960 even Indira ji also stayed in this hotel.At that time the hotel was main centre of Gandhis& my Father Sadhuji himself was city congress president,Sadhuji till his death has always been a sincere congressman.hotel has 30 rooms rent per room ranges between Rs. 90 to Rs.390.00 for 24 hrs,food is available to residents only on moderate rates But only vegetarian, contact no. 0535-2210172. Laxmi hotel building also provides residence to Children & all the grand children of late Shri Devi Charan Pandey alias Sadhuji.(prem Shanker Pandey, Shyam Shanker Pandey,Ganesh Shanker pandey& grandsons viz,Sandeep,Piyush,Kumar saumya, great grand sons Shrestha,Ishaan.
