Railway tracks are passing above Road E85.
Zmeyovo Viaduct or Zmeyovo Bridge is a stone arch bridge built by the Italian engineer Marcello. The bridge was built from exactly 830 stones. It is said that only one of the pre-planned ones remained unused and is currently located in front of the town hall of Zmeyovo Village.
Here the railway line Stara Zagora - Tulovo passes over road E85 via an old stone bridge without concrete. It was inaugurated in 1911.
Without a doubt, the viaduct is among the most beautiful structures built on the Bulgarian railway network in the first half of the 20th century. Any railway would be proud of such a construction achievement, so elegantly inscribed in the surrounding nature.
