 office building, commercial building

13-story office building completed in 1921. Designed by F.H. Dewey & Company for Robertson-Cole, a film distributing company, it is clad in brown brick. Robertson-Cole shared space with the Powers Film Products company; the building was renamed the Powers Building in the late 1920s. The west facade facing Times Square is five bays wide, with square 2-over-2 windows, and the south facade on 48th Street has six bays, with an extra bay on the east end that has narrower, shaftway openings at each floor.

The ground floor has a black iron and glass storefront, with a metal service door at the east end. The main building entrance is at the north end of the west facade, with glass double-doors framed on the left and top by grey metal panels. The 2nd floor is underlined by a band of roundels with shields inscribed in them, and is topped by a modillioned cornice. The 3rd floor has limestone bases and caps on the piers, and a decorative continuous lintel above the windows with an geometric pattern of triangles. The upper floors all have brick sills and lintels. Some window openings on various floors of both facades have been filled by grey metal panels. A large, 4-story billboard is mounted to the west half of the south facade, and the south half of the west facade.

The 12th floor has two smaller window per bay, set behind a projecting arcade of brick round-arches. These are topped by medallions, and a dentiled cornice. The east elevation is clad in plain brick, with a pipe vent running up the middle. At the back half is a bay of square, 2-over-2 windows (replaced by metal louvers at some of the lower floors) and a bay of smaller windows. The 13th floor is recessed, with a mechanical penthouse on top, stair-stepping back from the front edge. The north elevation is plain brick, with a solitary 3-over-3 window at the 12th floor and a smaller single-window at the 13th, both at the front edge. Another large, angled billboard is mounted on the roof. The ground floor is occupied by NYC Megamart.
