723 7th Avenue 10th Floor between 48th and 49th Street, Theater District. In 1994, Tupac Shakur was shot 5 times in the lobby of Quad Recording Studios by two armed men in army fatigues. Sean Combs (aka Puffy and P Diddy) and Biggie Smalls were accused of being behind the murder attempt but the evidence leading them has proven to be forged.
