Green Acres Baptist Church, main campus. At 12,000+ members, Green Acres is the largest megachurch (a self-described "mega-congregation") in East Texas. Its sprawling campus (nicknamed "Six Flags over Jesus" by locals) includes a baseball field, concert hall, family life center, youth center, outdoor walking track, and a large man-made pond stocked with fish. The church also operates a satellite campus in South Tyler.

Green Acres is a politically influential church whose congregation includes judges, elected officials, journalists, and businessmen.
