Church of the Sacred Heart (Málaga)

Spain / Malaga / Málaga / Plaza San Ignacio

This beautiful church, was built in 1920, in neo-Gothic style, designed by the famous architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan, son of Malaga, which was inspired by the cathedrals of Toledo and Burgos. The facade has two towers, between which is a beautiful rose. The interior is classic, with a main nave, and two lateral naves, with balconies above. The main altar is also in a Gothic style, with two large paintings aside, representing the holy martyrs Francisco and Ignacio.
The church is built in a tight space, so that only the outside facade can be seen while the other sides are bonded to adjacent buildings.
