This is a trumpet system interchange between Interstate 64 / 77 (West Virginia Turnpike) and U.S. Route 19 Alternate near Prosperity, West Virginia. It is the southern terminus of Appalachian Development Corridor L, which follows Route 19 Alternate briefly before joining mainline U.S. Route 19 two miles to the north. The interchange was constructed around 1980 along with U.S. Route 19 Alternate (Corridor L) and has not been significantly modified since. The interchange ramps going to/from the south (towards Bluefield) on the West Virginia Turnpike are tolled.
