  • I was born here. It great place
  • Good for you D, its not that bad. The city is changing. People just have to know where to look. Dayton is a very livable city. We have great suburbs, great shopping, great restaurants, and a good freeway network, good school systems, great parks, and a beautiful country side around the city. Dayton is not a bad place to live. Do not let one person's opinion change the whole view of a big city!
  • Your right Bobby.
  • It only has five sister cities.
  • I live here in Dayton. In the last 2 decades most meaningful jobs have left including steel and Auto mfg. The city is ran by self-serving megalomaniac over-achievers. The city is a perfect statistical slice of the rustbelt. The only hope is that the only direction to go is up.
  • Rick, the other posters are right. Dayton is very livale, it is a great place to live. Yes, jobs have left, but others have taken their place, things are looking so good for Dayton. The economy is diversifying, and that is what you need for GOOD change. Look at all the new development going on in Dayton, growth is occuring. Just look at the Greene. So many people from Indiana coming over to shop at this new shopping center, one of the largest in the nation, and not many areas can say they have this, not even the bigger ones. The Greene is an amazing shopping complex that still has more room to grow and is still under construction.
  • I was born in Dayton and with the exception of leaving for college have lived here my entire life. It has it's downsides, sure, but I love it~
  • What big city doesn't have its down sides?
