Rural history museum with its displays in buildings that have either been moved from other sites and reconstructed on the site (such as the 18th century timber framed barn) or have been built from scratch in the local style using some reclaimed material. The neighbouring windmill, Stevens' Mill (built in the early 1800s), is also part of the museum and is the only building on the site that is in it's original location (has not been moved or rebuilt, just restored).
