Second World War 1939-1945, United States Army, historic ruins, early warning radar
One of three WWII-era SCR-296A radar sites in the Kodiak region. The other two were located at Ft. Abercrombie and Long Island.
The polygon covers the location of the radar hut and tower. The support buildings--mess hall, quonset living huts, latrine, etc.--surrounded the radar site.
