Designed by Morris Ketchum, Jr. For the new school building, Ketchum designed a modern red-brick fortress, completed in 1969, that draws inspiration from the remnant of the surviving armory portion on the site.

  • One of 4 Specialized High Schools in New York City, and the only one with a 6-year program (7th - 12th grade). Students are admitted in the 7th grade only. Also houses Hunter College Elementary School.
