Acutally designated by the LIRR as Vanderbuilt Yard (a street of the same name crosses the yard which is why the name was chosen). Used as a Layover yard for trains using Flatbush Ave/Atlantic Terminal. Normally empty on weekends and hoilidays. Will be decked over for Atlantic yards project, including the Barcaly's Center for future use by the NBA's New Jersey Nets
