The Original Ninfa's on Navigation is a popular Mexican restaurant located at 2704 Navigation Boulevard in Houston, Texas. While it is the originator of the Ninfa's Tex-Mex restaurant chain found around Houston (and beyond), it isn't like them. The restaurant opened in 1973 to keep Ninfa Laurenzo's tortilla factory afloat after her husband Tommy Laurenzo passed away, but the restaurant was very popular, eventually managing to have several franchised locations. However, this Ninfa's is no longer related to them, and maintains a distinct (similar some in respects) menu.
