Built in 1958. This is the building was where 9 year old "Girl X" was raped, beaten, choked, poisoned with insecticide and scrawled on with gang symbols on January 9, 1997. Her attacker allegedly stepped on her throat. She was found on a seventh-story stairwell and left for dead but survived, though the attack blinded her.
The building has since been demolished, and is currently a vacant lot.
