  Imagine my surprise when looking on line to see if Hanner Hall was still at OSU I read that a Carl L.Hanner had visited OSU and remember that his father's Uncle was Carter C. Hanner.. The Residence hall at OSU was name in honor of my father, a Captain in the Oklahoma National Guard who served in France during the First World War. He was killed in October 1918. My family were' longtime residents of Stillwater and my older brother John, my sister Wilma and I were all students at Oklahoma A & M.
