This Neo-Classical style apartment block with its six columns is a municipal heritage site. Built in 1912, it featured skylights, beveled glass doors, back verandahs and elaborate fire escapes. Cousins Richard and Walter Arrand were noted building contractors in Saskatoon, with the Arrand Block being their last joint project before going separate ways. Richard is credited with inventing the first power cement mixer.
