USA / Texas / Dallas / Dallas, Texas / South Houston Street, 400
NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, train station, historical building, 1916_construction

Imposing Greek-revival train station. Currently used by Amtrak's Chicago - San Antonio -Los Angeles "Texas Eagle," as well as the Trinity Railway Express, and DART light rail. Underground tunnels lead travelers to train-boarding areas and tourists to both Reunion Arena and the adjacent Hyatt Regency Hotel. Suffered many lean years as a result of the decrease in train travel, but the last decades have seen something of a resurgence in use, due in part to the Dallas-Fort Worth train service and the increase in DART light rail lines.
