Sawarpai fort, hardly known to people, was a branch of Sadashivgad Fort. The queens used to reside in this fort. There is a unique trench around the fort and you can notice some old remenants of the fort here. Also it is believed that there exist a tunnel from here to the main fort.

  • Nice little fort. Remains of fortification wall and few structures can be seen. To climb, first go to the Gadkar family house towards south (shown in wikimapia) and then climb in straight line to north. Last patch goes through thick bushes.
