The hut is located in the Balkan Mountains, at the foot of Golyam Kademlia Peak (2,275.4 m), at about 1,360 m a.s.l. It is located at the upper end of a vast meadow. In front of the building, which houses the tourist canteen, there are several wooden tables and a fireplace, and next to them are the bungalows where tourists stay during the summer season. On the side there is another second, massive building, part of which has an unfinished look. On its first floor, in the part that is completed, there are bedrooms with several beds and wood stoves. The toilets are in the main building, next to the dining room.
