Al-Gamhouria Hospital (Republic Hospital) formerly known as Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

It was built by Britain in 1954 and it was reported that when Britain left Aden in 1967 they requested from Yemeni Government to keep the name of Hospital and all the necessary equipment and services will be at the expense of the United Kingdom, this request was rejected by Yemen.

  • Yemen's decision to reject Britain offer was foolish,atleast they can reduce stress on the medical system in Aden.We need to apologize and attain the service by the Queen as a sign of respect for what she did to the Colony of Aden.
