Respected Sir Sri Sasadhar Saha was our Principal. But no information about 150 year or 175 year celebration came to me.

I was a student of this school. Entered in this school in the year 1972 as a class-II student. Passed Madhyamik in the year 1980. That time Shri B. Sarkar was the Principal and Shri Sasanka Sekhar Singha was vice-principal. Although he was physically handicapped, but what a wonderful bengali teacher. Really, a father-like figure

I studied in this school from Class I and passed Madhyamik examination from here in 1978. I had wonderful memories of my beloved Alma mater, the entire faculty fraternity and my fellow friends. All the faculty members were extremely helping, supportive, proficient in their respective domains and had very good academic approach. They groomed us successfully to carve out our brilliant careers in future. I did my M.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1992. I am working at present as Director, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata since 2012.

I studied at St Paul's School at Amherst Street Kolkata from standard III until Madhyamik which I cleared in the year 1995. The school may have lost a bit of its glory days during my time (reading the comments from others), however, I do have a fond memory of the school. My family moved from central Kolkata to Kolkata East when I was on standard VI, but I still travelled to attend the school which perhaps explains me and my parents' fondness with the school. I did well at the school and went on to become a qualified Chartered Accountant (not many in Bengali community as you may know). I also managed to secure work at an international accountancy firm and moved to London in 2006. I'm currently a British citizen and is settled in London with my wife and 4 years old son. I wish all the best for my dearest school, its students, ideal teachers and future pupils. Regards.

A student here from 1961 to 1973. Right from class Infant. Great discipline in the days of Principal S.Saha. I still remember the smell of the playgrounds. The campus was big and that mattered. Not like present-day cages. Come 2022 and it will be a glory of 200 years!

During 1965 I completed my H.S under Principle Sasadhar Saha. He was an iron man ; hardly smiled in front of the student. His leadership cultivated many talented students to the State of Bengal. Mr. Sasanka Sekhar Singha was out Bengali teacher who was soft yet strict and uncompromising. Mr. Pradip Dutta was our Geography and Logic teacher. " Tapan Babu" was a charming English teacher. Mr. Pranab Babu, with a long bear was a history taeched. I remember every day we stood in line and prayed, inside the Old Building and in outside. White shirt and black pant was uniform. I visited the school in 2011. The old building has gone so the sunshine. Prabal Guha

I attended St. Paul's School between 1953 and 1956 when I graduated. I am sad to read that the old building is gone. All our classes were held in that building. Remember Principal Saha very well. His son Mukul Saha was in our class. Left Kolkata in 1958 to study at IIT, Kharagpur and never got around to visiting the school. Good memories survive even now when I am 76 and been living abroad for the past 50 years.
