My Father attended the school during the early 1900's.His father was married in the church in 1895.A very old and recognised school.Sir Cliff Richards the famous singer also attended this school

I remember teachers such as Mr. Patnayak, Mr.Tirkey, M/s.Mukherjee, Mrs. Bairagi ,Mr.Mckann, not to forget Drawing Master Mr.Das Gupta.   • It is found that teachers of ISC level are not at all responsible to the students.Specially some science subject teachers do not even clear the students' doubts.If they ask any problem,then teachers shout at them.I am very scared about what will happen to the students if they continue doing this. They do not even complete the syllabus.Therefore it is requested to the teachers that they should at least be kind to the students and complete the syllabus such that they get enough time to study.
  • sir, I have studied in this school for 11 years starting from Kg to class 10 . Joined the school in 1970 when Mr. Ambet was our principal and passed in the year 1982. I have seen the partition of our school when some teacher opened St, Thomas school at Dasnagar. I really missed my old friends of our batch. I left West Bengal in the year 1988 and presently posted at NTPC Dadri. I request my old friends to contact with me so that we could arrange ex student meet at Kolkatta . I loved my school and still cherish the loving memories of our school days and still remember some friends like somnath Mukherjee, Berson , Amit Das and Pramanick , Bikash Manik , Ujjal , Monikuntala , Deepa Das and so on .   • I am feeling so nostalgic today seeing a group photograph of our batch (1976 Dec ICSE) of Prefects; along with our favourite Principal, Mr A.V.Ambett and two of our very loved teachers, Mr. Dasgupta and Mr.Adamson. Thank you James (Ambett) for posting it on facebook; this really took me down the long memory lane on a roller-coaster and made me relive the amazing time we had at St Thomas Church School. My love and respect for all our teachers are in full bound and now I can appreciate their contributions even more! Cheers St Thomas Church School!

  • Wow that is really great to c our school map after such a long time. I miss those school days n teachers like Mr L.Samuel, Mr John Shah, Mr.Bhaduri, Ms Maitro ,Mr Rana Sarkar, Mrs Boss, Mr S.P.
