  • Can anyone tell me if the portico of La martiniere Girls school had an elephant porch? ie a high porch to allow in elephants with howdahs, and a balcony from which you could get into the howdah...? Have been trying to find out for a very long time! Thanks. Kamalini
  • La Marts for Girls is a school for the kids of the rich and the famous- you should be ready to pay 2 Lac rupiya as GHOOSH - Bribe- to the Managing Committee-or straight to the Headmistress Mrs Hilda Peacock-if you wish for a seat .Otherwise howsoever much intelligent shemay be-you dont stand a chance. Its a shame that under the benvolent gazes of Madonna with child such lust for money plays out.
