Original USAF ramp/pad - this area along with two missile maintenance hangars was transfer over to the City of Orlando as Joint Civil-Military Use Base in 1962 up until 1981, when the new airside terminals opened.
The area was then used by shipping service companies & now a car rental service companies.
The buildings were demo in 2006 but the outline can still be seen today north of this ramp/pad area.
This area also had buildings of a Y-Shape Gate Terminals prior to the construction of the in 1980s modern airport.
