This is the Conway Chain of Lakes in Orlando, FL. There is public access, and it is skiable. It's beautiful, clean, and tons of fun. There are four major lakes on this chain, with a public ramp on the first lake, off Hoffner next to the Baptist Church. The third lake is where you will find the infamous "Sand Bar", where any given Sunday afternoon will find it filled with boats and people and LOTS of drinking. Some of the best wakeboarding is found on the last lake (this is also the lake that provides access to a gas station that will rent you a gas can if you run low and need to fill up on the lake)---it tends to have the least activity and can provide you with some really good lines.

  • very nice lake to do any watersports esp. wake boarding. Fishing is also nice and for the person who just wants to relax, this place is it.
