  • We were here with JTF 411 back in APR 1997. Nuevos Horizontes, Camp Rousseau, Panama. I remember the bubble barracks, the fans blowing to keep them inflated about froze you at night compared to the heat outside. Had to make sure you closed to revolving doors. The area was all gravel then, looks like the jungle is taking it back. Left Ft. Dix, NJ in snow and landed in tropical heat, Hell yeah!.Toured the canal, and "horse-traded" with souvenir vendors," Thats ten dolla, for you my friend, five dolla". I wonder if the school is still in use?
