tunnel, NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, interesting place, invisible
Built in 1844 for the Long Island Rail Road. Was sealed and just about forgotten from the 1860s right up to 1980. Reopened in 1981 and closed in 2010 citing safety concerns. Believed by some to be the tomb of not only a steam locomotive, but pages of the diary of John Wilkes Booth.
