One of the longest bridge tunnels in the world at 17.6 miles. It connects Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore and saves millions of travelers hours of extra travel time. Speed does have its price, though. It will cost you $12 to get across. However, if you return within 24 hours, the return trip will only cost you $5.
