This is an interchange between Interstate 66 and Virginia Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) between Fairfax and Oakton. It is a cloverleaf interchange with the westbound I-66 to southbound VA-123 loop replaced by a semi-directional flyover. There are collector-distributor roads along I-66. Besides the addition of the collector-distributor road, the interchange has not been substantially modified since it was originally constructed in the 1960s.
