Arab Baths (Ronda)

Spain / Malaga / Ronda
 bathhouse, interesting place

Built in the 13th century whilst Ronda was still under the control of Moors, the baths are located close to the Guadalevin river and a tributary stream, the Arroyo de las Culebras, from which water was pumped using a waterwheel and aquaduct. The baths contained rooms for cold, warm, and hot baths. Numerous star shaped vents allow sunlight and air through the domed ceilings.
