This boat actually was one of the original catamarans used by Dennis Conner when he defended the America's cup yacht race, when New Zealand tried to challenge the rules and have the cup race sooner than it was supposed to.
Later, modified by Lagoon, (Jeanneau Technique Avancées racing division), and used as the "hero" vessel in the movie "Waterworld" (1995).
