The new Temple is built in 1995, funded by the families of the local. It is widely believed that a Lord Vishnu temple should be opposite to Lord Shiva temple to avoid misfortune happening to the families around. Apparently, Lord Shiva's third eye can burn everything It sees into ashes. Recently there was a news heading saying the falcon(of course, it's not the mexican eagle) but the white eagle called 'krishnapparunthu'in local language flew to the temple to reside there after making a holy dip in the temple pond. As usual a new nest has been built immediately for the carrier of Lord Vishnu. I ain't get a chance to see him, but the story sounds interesting! Ain't it?
