Located near the serene waters of the Ohio River, Hiram Ulysses Grant was born in the small settlement of Point Pleasant, Ohio. He served as General-in-Chief of the Union Army and as 18th President of the United States. Grant was born in the log cabin still there, but moved to the village of Georgetown in Brown County, Ohio in the fall of 1823.

The house has been turned into a small museum in which you can enter. They have authentic furniture, including the footlocker that Grant used while he attended the Military Academy at West Point. The fees are:
