Air Force Range located inside the Fort Wainwright Military Reservation. Hard to find any information on what exactly goes on here, but it is listed as an active military installation. There are some mentions that there may be occasional satellite launches from here.

  • I saw a UFO Hovering above this area once. It measured about 23.3 miles in width. It is the sighting that was reported on January 13, 2005. It hovered over the area for about 45 minutes.
  • The size could easily be innacurate. It's hard to measure those things.
  • I served at the Blair Lakes Bomb Range from 1975-1978 while in the USAF. It is where the fighter aircraft from Anchorage came to practice their bombing (smoke bombs) and strafing. We maintained the range and scored the pilots on their proficency. The range was originally build, just guessing, around 1970. When I was there it was very crude affair.   • It's a complex for managing the bomb impact range across the Tanana River from EIelson AFB, and is due south of Fairbanks. Gotta have a safe place to drop live ordinance. No rockets, people. Look up Ft Greely and Clear Air Station for your conspiracy theories.
