This beautiful bridge is on the Speed River, very close to its confluence with the Eramosa River. Eramosa trail and Silvercreek Trail meet here. There is a lawn bawling club very close to this bridge on the south side.

  • I had seen this bridge being built. It was a quite interesting experience to see the bridge being built by the volunteers. At that time, I used to walk to my workplace crossing a road bridge nearby. The day the bridge was dragged to span over the river, I asked my wife to come with me and see this event. It was a very nice day and lots of people came to see this. We spent almost the whole day to see these activities. After the bridge was open to the public I used to cross the Speed two times a day each work day. Now I am retired and I miss walking on this bridge.
