Sedgwick station on the R7 SEPTA line. Formerly the Chestnut Hill East line of the Reading Railroad, running between Chestnut Hill and Reading Terminal, it now enters Center City via an underground tunnel to the Market East Station and Suburban Station. The Sedgwick station house, destroyed by fires in the 1980s, was one of several by noted architect Frank Furness. The next station north, Mt. Airy, is also a Furness design. From Sedgwick, it is less than 25 minutes to Center City.
