Arlington County Park with mowed grass, shrubs and a paved trail. Lucky Run is a stream that Arlington County paved over. Lucky Run is now buried in a storm sewer below Walter Reed Drive, which was named Walter Reed Parkway when Lucky Run ran nearby. Lucky Run remains open in the median of Beauregard Street in Alexandria, south of the portion of the stream that Arlington County covered. A smaller stream runs next to the trail, above the larger stream that the County covered.
