Destination point for DPRK youth in P'yŏngyang with an emphasis on science and technology education (currently, for example, there is a lecture and diorama focusing on the construction of the Youth Hero Motor Speedway[highway]). It is spread out over 51,000 square meters (104,000 square feet) with a 600 seat and 1,000 seat theaters, four meeting rooms and a multi-purpose hall which hold 1,000 people. The Central Youth Hall also offers recreational activities including table tennis, badminton, karoke and paduk. This is one of the numerous youth halls and student palaces which are administered and staffed by the League of Socialist Working Youths of Korea.
