3-story Arts-and-Crafts-style mercantile building completed in 1923. Designed by James S. Maher as a market/loft building. The facades are the same on both West 14th & 9th Avenue, clad in beige brick with smooth-stuccoed panels decorated with rust red ceramic diamonds shapes. Large industrial windows take up the 2nd and 3rd floors, with modern storefronts lining the ground floor. The roof parapet extends up above each of the outermost bays, topped by a gently-sloping arch. A large metal canopy is suspended over the west half of the ground floor on the West 14th Street side. A large, angled advertising sign is mounted on the roof.

The ground floor is occupied the nation's second-largest Apple Store, which opened in 2007 with interior alterations by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects with Higgins Quasebarth & Partners. Previously, the building was home to Markt and Western Beef supermarket.
