Berry Glen was a former community located 2.5 miles north of Orick. Berry Glen was a roadside store in the 1940s that flourished into a store in the 50s. The buildings were soon abandoned in 1952 and burned in 1996. The name stems from the many forms of berries grown by Prairie Creek.
