Langdale is a small community just north of Gibsons. It's main employers are two sawmills and the ferry terminal, to which a ferry sails from West Vancouver. Langdale is the main access point to BC's Sunshine Coast, which stretches from Port Mellon, just north of Langdale, all the way to Lund, located near the tip of the Malaspina Peninsula, about a 3 hour drive from here.
