  • Out of all the places in the USA, this is the first place I'd choose to visit. Twilight is the best! And I love rainy weather. =)
  • I like how all the people saying they think it's the greatest place ever have never actually been there - take it from a Washingtonian: Forks has almost nothing go for it; not worth a visit in the slightest. it's scenery isn't unique to the peninsula nor does the town itself have any charm beyond what is manufactured in the imagination. ergo, it doesn't really have a lot of reason for existing.
  • i dunno, but this place is just famous because it rides the bandwagon of twilight. geess talk about identification..
  • My sister loves "Twilight".
  • Let's get this straight guys: Twilight was not filmed at all in Forks! It was filmed in in the Portland area (Oregon and Washington)
  • Oce is absolutely correct. The Twilight series greatly misrepresents what Forks is actually like. For is not the quaint town talking about in the series, it is a logging town that isn't even really approaching quaint.
  • Wow, sorry about my grammar!
  • Forks is nothing but a small logging town. It has gained immense popularity for tourism due to Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series. If you are a fan of Twilight it is a must see, it has MANY stores DEDICATED to selling Twilight memorabilia, although if you are just driving though and happen to stop to get gas, well you might not even notice it.
  • Also, The Forks Coffee Shop has AMAZING milkshakes. :)
