This former Illinois Central Railroad tunnel is now used by the Indiana Rail Road. The rail line through this 500' long tunnel was completed to Indianapolis during 1906. It has been operated by the Indiana Rail Road since 1986. The INRD also operates the Indian Springs Tunnel in Martin County.
