A 68-second elevator ride propels visitors 55 stories to the top of the Hyatt Regency's Reunion Tower for a breathtaking 360-degree view of Dallas. An easily recognizable landmark for Dallas and a dramatic addition to the evening skyline with its lighted dome and flashing light show, the tower is the location of a restaurant, which rotates at the rate of one revolution every 55 minutes. It formerly included a public observation deck, but that closed in 2007.
Reunion Tower reopened its restaurant level on February 9, 2009, after it was closed for major renovations on November 16, 2007. The observation deck reopened October 5, 2013, just in time for the Tower's 35th anniversary.

  • I acutally ate a the restrauant there. But I personally prefer Los Lupe's (lol!)My favorite thing there is the observation deck. It's really cool, and if you ever get the chance you, it's defintely worth the ride up to the top.
  • They closed the observation deck? Dang. That was one of my fondest memories of my Dallas trip in 2004. There's no reason not to reopen it...
  • Unfortunately I've never even been inside it. Hopefully it gets re-opened soon!
