This dock used to be for the Navy's special services party boat. The deep-sea fishing vessel "Waccamaw" once docked here in the 1970's. Aside from that, this dock provided very good fishing for Croaker, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Sea Trout, an occasional Black Drum, Redfish, Sea Bass, and Ribbon Fish. Persons using a cast-net could also catch Mullet here.
